Habitat loss is the greatest threat facing wildlife. Every day, vital ecosystems are destroyed, accelerating biodiversity loss and species extinction. This environmental damage also drives climate change, making the need to address this crisis even more urgent.

World Land Trust has a steadfast commitment to helping people around the world protect and restore their land, safeguarding both biodiversity and the climate. Working through a network of partner organisations around the world, WLT funds the creation of reserves and provides permanent protection for habitats and wildlife. Partnerships are developed with established and highly respected local organisations who engage support and commitment among the local community.

Since 1989, collaboration with 53 partners across 30 countries WLT has funded the protection of 1,340,393ha (3,312,183 acres) and co-funded a further 1,449,918ha (3,582,825 acres) of highly threatened habitat and planted of more than 3.3 million trees
