WePlanet is a new voice for the climate generation. Their mission is to win concrete policy backing and funding for big, rapidly scalable climate solutions such as sustainable proteins, advanced nuclear and climate resilient crops. Their ambition is to grow into a truly global NGO capable of super-charging both climate action and Global South prosperity.

Whilst we are focused on reducing the emissions intensity of electricity & to 'electrify everything', it's important to remember that nearly 800 million people are still without access to electricity. The Global North must lead efforts to decarbonise as their cumulative emissions dwarf those in the Global South. Decarbonisation efforts can't fall entirely on those in the Global South simply working to get access to electricity. We need ClimateJustice. We have the technologies and solutions to decarbonise energy & electrify everything. What we are lacking is political leaders willing to put the policies in place. As citizens we must demand they take action. Climate Action Now!
