Grassland Restoration in South America
Grassland Restoration through Soil Enrichment in South America
Located in the Pampas grasslands of South America, this project restores 76,355 acres of degraded rangeland in Argentina and Paraguay. Decades of overgrazing and conversion to cropland have depleted soil carbon across the region. Working with local ranchers, the project introduces rotational grazing and improved water management, supported by digital agronomy tools. As soils recover, they draw down and store atmospheric CO₂, generating carbon credits that give ranchers an additional income stream.
